Sorrell set to join Stanhope as adviser
SIR Martin Sorrell, chief executive of advertising giant WPP, is set to join the advisory board of boutique wealth management group Stanhope Capital in September.
Sorrell, a doyen of the advertising sector, will sit alongside former BP boss Lord Browne, who was appointed as chairman of Stanhope's advisory board in October.
Stanhope - which acquired rival Jewson Associates a week ago, boosting its assets under management to $7.5 billion (4.6bn) - was set up by former investment bankers Daniel Pinto and Julian Sevaux in 2004.
