MCGRIGORS, Scotland’s largest law firm by turnover, yesterday confirmed it was in merger talks with London-based practice Pinsent Masons (Scotsman).

FNZ wants more Scottish graduates for its world HQ

Financial services company FNZ said yesterday it would recruit more graduates to staff its new Scottish headquarters. The firm, which supplies IT and administration services to wealth managers, will take on 20 graduates in the first three months of this year, after hiring more than 200 in Edinburgh in the past two years (Scotsman).

A WATER quality engineering company has sealed a distribution deal in the United States which could be worth $150,000 (£97,150) in the first year. Panton McLeod struck the agreement for its Pantonite cleaning products with Massachusetts-based Maher Services (Herald).
