Scots queuing for Eurostar

EUROSTAR fares booked direct from Scotland's two largest cities have soared in the past six months, new figures have revealed.

From Glasgow, the number of tickets were up 54 per cent, while sales direct from Edinburgh were 49 per cent higher. Overall, Eurostar ticket sales were up 25 per cent for the first half of 2008 to 368.8 million.
