S&N captures Tiger beer deal
SCOTTISH & Newcastle is to become the exclusive importer, marketer and distributor of Tiger beer in the UK.
The Edinburgh-based company, which was bought by a consortium of Carlsberg and Heineken last year, has secured the UK rights to Tiger, the flagship brand of Asia Pacific Breweries which is sold in more than 8000 bars and clubs across the UK.
S&N UK's speciality brands director Jonathan Townsend said: "By accessing S&N's unrivalled on and off trade distribution network, Tiger will now be able to realise its massive potential."
