Reckitt’s new boss plans overhaul
The new boss of Reckitt Benckiser, which owns brands including Dettol and Nurofen, yesterday hailed a decade of “superior growth” but warned the company would have to overhaul its strategy to keep ahead of the game.
Indian-born Rakesh Kapoor, who took up the top job in September, said the group will step up its focus on emerging markets to tackle slower growth elsewhere as it unveiled a 12 per cent hike in annual operating profits to £2.4 billion.
