Pippa Middleton in Waitrose recipe deal

PIPPA MIDDLETON is to become the new face of Waitrose after agreeing a deal with the upmarket retailer.

• Miss Middleton will bring ‘wealth of experience of entertaining’

The Duchess of Cambridge’s sister will write a monthly column for Waitrose Kitchen called Pippa’s Friday Night Feast, sharing exclusive tips on recipes and entertainment.

Miss Middleton will appear on the front of the magazine’s April issue, when the column will be unveiled to Waitrose customers.

Speaking about her new column, she said: “I’m delighted to be writing for Waitrose Kitchen, a magazine that’s always been an inspiration to me. My column will be an exciting opportunity to share my own passion for food and entertaining and I can’t wait to get started.”

The magazine, which is sold at supermarket counters and costs £1.20, talked up the new appointment.

“Pippa will be an excellent contributor, bringing a wealth of experience of entertaining,” said magazine editor William Sitwell.
