It’s not just lingerie: New range designed by top model

Marks & Spencer is hoping to reinvigorate its sales with the launch of a range of 1920s-style lingerie designed by model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
The group recently reported a 6.8 per cent fall in non-food sales for the 13 weeks to 30 June – its worst performance since December 2008 – after seeing its annual underlying profits fall 1 per cent to £705.9 million.
Huntington-Whiteley said she drew inspiration for the “Rosie for Autograph” range by trawling through vintage shops in London, Los Angeles and Paris.
M&S head of design for lingerie Soozie Jenkinson said: “It’s been a great experience working together with Rosie. She is as passionate about beautiful lingerie as we are.”
The group is also believed to be planning a new advertising campaign that will replace celebrities such as Myleene Klass, Lisa Snowdon and Twiggy with “ordinary models”.
