Chris Hoy joins board at Provexis

SPORTS nutrition company Provexis has signed up Sir Chris Hoy as a “brand ambassador” for its Science in Sport (SiS) range of gels and supplements.

The Aim-quoted firm said it was formalising a “long-standing relationship” with the six-time Olympic gold medallist, who joins triathlete Helen Jenkins and fellow cyclist Rebecca Romero in the SiS stable. Managing director Stephen Moon said: “Sir Chris is without doubt one of the world’s best athletes and truly epitomises what SiS is all about. Having used our products as an integral part of his nutrition ritual for a number of years, we are delighted to announce this new partnership.

“We are very proud of Chris and his achievements and it’s a major honour to have him as a sporting ambassador.”

Hoy, Britain’s most successful ever Olympian, will make appearances to help promote the brand’s nutrition products, as well as appearing on the SiS website and providing content for use on its social media channels.
