Allders axe falls as 130 people lose their jobs
ADMINISTRATORS of the collapsed Allders department store group yesterday made 130 staff redundant and confirmed the departure of three senior executives.
The jobs will go at the headquarters in Croydon, London, but staff at its 45 stores will be unaffected. The casualties include chief executive Terry Green, commercial director, Phil Cox, and finance director Harvey Ainley.
