Redrow picks Scott Group in pallet deal
HOUSEBUILDER Redrow has awarded a contract to Fife-based Scott Group to return pallets from its building sites south of the Border back to their owners as part of efforts to reduce waste on its projects.
Michael Noble, managing director at Scott ELM, the division of Scott Group that won the contract, said: "We are delighted to be partnering with Redrow on this service and have already collected more than 20 tonnes of pallets."
Scott Group was founded in 1987 as a family-run sawmill and now employs more than 1,000 people UK-wide.
