Public contracts site hits one million mark
PUBLIC Contracts Scotland has issued more than one million new business alerts to over 31,000 registered companies since its launch in October 2008.
The Public Contracts Scotland website is a free portal and is a single source of information that gives businesses access to public contract opportunities throughout Scotland.
Finance Secretary John Swinney said: "Achieving this significant milestone in only nine months reflects the growing popularity of the site to the SME sector."
