Plexus secures SPD contract
PLEXUS Holdings, the Aberdeen oil and gas company, has won a contract with fellow oil engineering firm SPD.
The deal, which is expected to begin in October, is initially worth 130,000.
Plexus will provide SPD with its "Pos-grip" wellhead system, which will be used for an appraisal well being drilled in the southern North Sea.
SPD, which has its headquarters in Dubai and an office in Aberdeen, has worked with 70 oil operators in 40 countries.
