Plenty at stake: Virgin Media puts its share of UKTV up for sale
VIRGIN Media has put its 50 per cent stake in digital broadcaster UKTV up for sale, it has been reported.
UKTV, which includes the Dave and Gold channels, was formed in 1997 as a joint venture between Virgin and BBC Worldwide and attracts around 36.5 million viewers each month for shows including Waking the Dead, above, with Tom Ward, Emilia Fox and William Gaminara. Picture: BBC
