Outsourcing plan boost for Onyx
Balfour Beatty Engineering Services (BBES) is outsourcing its IT services desk to Onyx Group, the Stockton-on-Tees based firm that bought Glasgow's Campbell Lee and Edinburgh-based Dundas IT.
Glasgow-based BBES said it required more IT support after bringing together two of the group's divisions into one outfit.
Onyx director Hugh Gillen said: "We are delighted to have been selected to provide this critical service to such a high profile company. Having bases close to many BBES UK offices helps our two businesses work closely together, and we believe that cohesion will stand us in good stead as we develop the service together with BBES."
