Optimism for finance sector
THE financial services sector may be on a "gradual path to recovery", according to the latest survey by the CBI and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
The survey showed financial services firms' optimism rose for the first time since March 2007. Some 11 per cent expect business to rise in the next three months.
PwC senior partner Frank Blin said: "This commitment, combined with the depth and spread of financial services across a range of sectors, means that the Scottish economy is well placed to pick up when the growth does come through."
