Oman talks could boost BAE jobs
Defence group BAE Systems is in talks with the government of Oman to supply a number of Typhoon fighter aircraft, which would be delivered within three years of a contract being signed.
The aircraft would be built at BAE’s site in Warton, near Preston in Lancashire, where hundreds of job losses were announced last year under cuts sparked by a slowdown in production.
