Nokia looks to web skills to beat Apple
FINNISH mobile phone giant Nokia yesterday revealed it has bought US mobile analytics company Motally as it continues its battle with rival Apple.
Nokia said the acquisition underscores its attempt to improve mobile web browsing analytics - information about where users go online - for software developers of its internet services, which are struggling to match the maker of the iPhone.
Nokia's Ovi Internet service enables phone users to download things such as maps, music and games.
