New director joins city's BioQuarter
EDINBURGH BioQuarter, Scotland's flagship research and business park for the life sciences sector, has announced the appointment of a director of commercialisation.
Michael Capaldi, a 26-year veteran of the industry, joins Simon Best, who was appointed to chair the commercialisation unit in August.
Capaldi has returned to the UK after ten years working in Europe and the US.
Scottish Enterprise, one of the major backers of BioQuarter, said Capaldi will manage industry contacts and lead efforts to generate new companies.
