Murray nephew buys company
A LETTINGS agent in the Capital has been bought by a company headed by a nephew of Edinburgh-based businessman Sir David Murray.
Richard Murray's Murray and Currie Property Sales has bought Dalry-based agent Excelet Lettings for a six-figure sum.
It is the first transaction of the new business, established six weeks ago by Mr Murray and business partner Steven Currie, a former director of the Edinburgh office of the lettings firm DJ Alexander.
Mr Murray, 23, said: "If you look around the property scene at the moment it's a bit tired, everyone is doing the same thing and we want to shake it up a bit.
"Steven and I have developed a broad experience across the Edinburgh property scene and we fully intend to bring a fresh and younger approach."
