Morrisons supermarket announce some reasons to be happy
MORRISONS offset disappointment over the imminent departure of its chief executive today by revealing sales "well ahead" of rivals.
The supermarket chain said like-for-like sales were up 4.3 per cent in the 13 weeks to 1 November. It was announced yesterday that Morrisons' head, Marc Bolland, is to defect to competitor Marks & Spencer.
