Miller Developments moves into Bulgaria
MILLER Developments has completed a £103 million purchase of a retail and leisure development in Bulgaria.
It is the biggest ever European deal for the Edinburgh-based property company, which also owns part of the Edinburgh Park business complex.
The agreement to buy the development in Varna, Bulgaria, was struck in June 2007. The site includes up to 150 shops, a cinema, a bowling alley and a food court.
Group chief executive Keith Miller said: "Despite the current economic climate, we expect the retail market in Bulgaria to continue to grow."
