Luxury fashion house Matthew Williamson is looking to extend its online reach after hiring the services of QueryClick, the Edinburgh-based web marketing agency.

The agreement will see the technology outfit create and implement a search engine optimisation and “pay-per-click” campaign for the brand.

Matthew Williamson was founded in 1997 and has stores in London, Bicester, Dubai and Qatar, as well as a string of wholesale accounts. It produces four women’s ready-to-wear collections each year.

Chris Liversidge, managing director of QueryClick, said: “Matthew Williamson is a fantastic British luxury designer and we are delighted to be working with the brand to develop its online presence.”

The search specialist has worked with other fashion brands, including All Saints. Hunter and Temperley London.

Headquartered in Edinburgh, the firm has additional offices in London and New York and operates in 28 countries.
