Scotsman freelancer adds to award tally
ONE of The Scotsman's longest-standing business freelancers, Anthony Harrington, has won Journalist of the Year, trade titles, at the State Street awards.
This is his second major award of the year. He won Business Finance Journalist of the Year award from the (UK) Institute of Financial Accountants in September.
In both cases he beat off a strong field from the Financial Times, the Economist, Dow Jones, Reuters and the Times. His award comes a month after The Scotsman was named as Regional Financial Newspaper of the year in the prestigious Association of British Insurers Financial Media awards.
