Planet Soccer kicks off Clydesdale link-up
THE company behind Grangemouth’s Planet Soccer outdoor football complex yesterday unveiled a funding deal with Clydesdale Bank.
Little Kerse Leisure hopes that the £150,000 loan – secured through the UK government’s Enterprise Finance Guarantee (EFG) scheme – can be used to build further sports and leisure facilities on its site.
The firm has applied for planning permission to construct a children’s nursery and a sports pavilion with a gymnasium, indoor studio facility for exercise classes and cafe.
Stephen Barr, Little Kerse Leisure’s managing director, explained: “We are eager to make the most of our 34 acre site to bring new sporting facilities and development opportunities to the local area.”
