Golf clubhouse staff redundant
THREE accountants from Scott-Moncrieff were yesterday appointed as the provisional liquidators for DMH Leisure, which owns the clubhouse at Brunston Castle golf course near Girvan, in Ayrshire.
The golf club’s committee has struck a deal with the liquidators to continue using the clubhouse while a buyer is sought. In exchange for use of the facility, the golf club members will pay utility bills and the greenkeeper.
All 24 members of staff in the clubhouse and greenkeeping teams were made redundant as a result of the liquidation.
