BSkyB 'does not want Five'

BSKYB boss James Murdoch has no interest in swapping the group's 17.9 per cent stake in ITV for ownership of Five.

The satellite broadcaster stands to make a loss of around 320 million on the shares, bought at above market rates, if forced to sell by the Competition Commission, which will make a recommendation to ministers next month.
