Alienation targets £1m turnover
Marketing and web design agency Alienation Digital is projecting annual turnover of more than £1 million after a string of contract wins helped boost half-year figures.
The Glasgow-based firm, which is wholly owned by managing director Neil Barr, said its “diverse” client base was central to its success. Recent additions include malt whisky specialist Gordon & MacPhail, the University of Bath and defence giant BAE Systems.
The company said it had also extended its existing relationships with Scottish Ballet and the Beatson Institute for Cancer Research, among others.
At the half-way stage in its financial year, Alienation has recorded a 197 per cent leap in its net profit to £122,000. Turnover is up by 60 per cent to £542,000 and likely to rise by 41 per cent at the year-end to break the £1m mark.
The firm also pointed to a strengthening of its London office and the addition of five staff, taking its headcount to 25.
Barr, who said the firm would continue to recruit, remarked: “We all know it’s a very competitive market just now which makes these figures all the more encouraging.”
