McCall takes on role at Johnston Press
JOHNSTON Press, publisher of The Scotsman, has appointed a new company secretary.
Peter McCall held the same position at Kenmore Property Group until last month, having previously been part of the legal team at British Energy between 1999 and 2006.
He replaces Richard Cooper, who is retiring.
John Fry, chief executive of the Edinburgh-based group, said: "I would like to thank Richard for his enormous contribution to Johnston Press over many years and to offer our best wishes for his retirement.
"I look forward to working with Peter and welcome him to the company."
