Recruitment firm BWSR to expand own workforce

  • by SCOTT REID

BWSR, part of Scottish recruitment agency Brightwork Group, is to expand its own workforce after a sharp rise in turnover since being set up four years ago.

The professional, technical and managerial offshoot has increased its headcount from an initial three to eight and a further two consultants are being “actively sought to explore new business avenues”.

Turnover in the division has risen almost ten-fold since its inception in 2008, with a 2012 forecast of just under £1.3 million, up from £139,540.

Director Shan Saba said: “These are very impressive figures and they demonstrate that the specialist recruitment side of the Brightwork Group is as successful as the mainstream volume business, which is also doing very well.”

The wider group turned over £24m last year.
