Print firm Elevate You to cut up to 12 jobs

Digital print firm Elevate You has confirmed it is undertaking a consultation process which may lead to 12 redundancies from its workforce of 35.

The Edinburgh-based company was founded by chief executive Jim Rae in 2005 when he led a management buyout of the business from Docuserve.

The firm is understood to be in negotiations with investors to keep the company going. The firm employs about 25 people.

Earlier this month, director and minority shareholder William McColl resigned from the business, according to Companies House.

The company was formed in 2005 when Rae led a management buy-out of the business from his employer Docuserve Digital. The move was backed by a number of investors including Archerfield Estates, the investment vehicle of the Duke of Hamilton.

Rae was unavailable for comment.
