Car dealership group Peter Vardy has been named as the “official vehicle partner” for the Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) which gets under way this month.
Stars and celebrities will be transported around the capital in a fleet of the company’s cars during the 68th edition of the EIFF, which will run at cinemas and venues across Edinburgh from 18 June.
Artistic director Chris Fujiwara last week announced a bumper programme which will showcase 156 features, and the festival will be attended by international stars such as Elijah Wood, pictured, and Don Johnson.
The cars will be available for use by high-profile film industry guests.
Peter Vardy will also be represented at the red carpet opening gala night, one of the city’s most glamorous nights of the year that features a world premiere of the film Hyena.
The company’s marketing director, Dale Smith, said: “Peter Vardy is proud to be associated with such an important occasion which stands out in a year of events which are showcasing Scotland at its best.”
