A recruiter based in Edinburgh is launching a division specialising in top-level executive roles after seeing growing demand in the sector – and has also announced high-end appointments in the business.

iMultiply Resourcing said the new operations will be led by executive search director Arturo Carbonell, who is also being named as the company’s finance director. The division will operate from the firm’s headquarters and its Glasgow office, with the latter expected to grow its full-time staff to six by the end of 2017.

Kirsty Mackenzie, iMultiply’s managing director, who founded the business in 2012, said: “Executive search is one of the more conservative parts of the recruitment industry: methods and approaches to finding top management haven’t changed much in several decades.”

She said the firm will bring “a relentless focus on customer satisfaction, a commitment to transparency, and a strong network” to this part of the market.

As well as helping firms fill their boardrooms, the company has expanded its own board, adding to its ranks Carbonell and senior manager John Gilbertson, who has been promoted to director. The new part of the business comes after iMultiply opened a division focused on temporary staff in 2013.
