Ginger beer from Alloa to Australia
Brewer Williams Brothers is exporting its alcoholic ginger beer to Australia after signing a deal with a distributor down under.
The first container of the traditional Scottish drink, brewed on a malt base for a “beery flavour”, is already in transit to the Alloa-based firm’s new partner, Brook Brothers of Melbourne.
Richard McLelland, sales and marketing director at Williams Brothers, said: “It’s great when you find the right importer, that you feel you can hand over control of your brand to when you are on the other side of the planet.”
