A FALKIRK tailor is taking his bespoke fashion business across the world after gaining support from Business Gateway and Scottish Enterprise.

Andrew Brookes, who has dressed stars such as actor Billy Boyd, has already opened showrooms in Edinburgh, Aberdeen and on London’s Savile Row during a two-year development period with strategy and marketing support from Business Gateway Falkirk.

This year he plans to visit clients in Dubai, Los Angeles, New York and Singapore, where he aims to secure new opportunities for his bespoke tailored highland wear, formal wear, business suits, shooting wear and weekend wear.

Demand for Brookes’ services has seen the business accepted onto the Scottish Enterprise growth pipeline, identified as having the ability to significantly grow sales in the next three years. According to Scottish Enterprise, “Andrew Brookes Tailoring aims to bring men’s fashion back into focus, offering luxury tailored design with a Scottish feel.”
