EA eyes downloads topping game sales
COMPUTER games maker Electronic Arts expects revenue from digital downloads of its games to overtake sales of boxed game software within three years, its chief operating officer yesterday revealed.
The publisher of titles such as Battlefield, Fifa Soccer and Star Wars is also pushing ahead with mobile phone and free-to-play products, Peter Moore said on the eve of a giant trade fair in Frankfurt.
