WOLSELEY non-executive Pilar López has bought her first stake in the building products supplier. López, who is also chief financial officer of Telefónica Europe, bought 1,000 shares at a price of 3,168p per share.

More buys

• Ken Ford, non-executive chairman at recruitment consultancy NAKAMA, has bought 197,140 shares at 1.24p each. The move takes his stake up to almost 12 per cent of the company.

• Two directors at strategic investment company EW GROUP have bought shares. John Morton bought 1.08 million shares at 1.18p to take his holding up to 44.9 million shares and Roderick Gentry bought 212,180 shares at the same price and now holds just under 39 million shares in the Aim-quoted outfit. The Guernsey-based company recently said that 2012 had seen a significant turnaround in its fortunes, with net assets increasing from £400,000 to £3.3 million at the year end.

• DOMINO’S PIZZA finance director Lee Ginsberg has sold 70,000 shares at 578p each.

• Anthony Bone, a non-executive director at Aim-listed technology group LO-Q has sold 100,000 shares at an average price of 600p. The company said that the move was in response to “significant institutional demand”. He still holds more than 200,000 shares in the company.

• Former DIAGEO chief executive Paul Walsh has sold almost £4m worth of shares after exercising options under a reward scheme from 2009.
