Cruise director salary increase
THE highest-paid director of designer clothing retailer Cruise bagged a top salary ahead of the firm's sale to investment firm Arev, it was revealed today.
The director, believed to be founder Jim Gibson, netted a salary of 811,407 in the last financial year - compared to 330,000 the previous year.
It emerged last month that Mr Gibson was to sell Glasgow-based Cruise, which has three stores in the Capital, in a 7 million deal.
