With Skyfall, the latest instalment in the James Bond franchise, grossing more than £60 million in its first two weeks, the cinema operator is now looking forward to the concluding part of the Twilight series and The Hobbit, which is released on 14 December.

Box office revenues rose 2.1 per cent in the 45 weeks to 8 November, as a 4 per cent increase in ticket prices offset a 4.1 per cent drop in admissions. However, a lack of 3D films, and therefore lower sales of 3D glasses, saw ‘other income’ plunge 18.2 per cent.
