Camera company snapped up

Scottish surveillance cameras firm Codestuff has been sold to one of its customers in a deal worth up to £1.5 million.

London-listed Digital Barriers will pay an initial £750,000 for the Livingston-based company, and may add as much again in 2014 if certain targets are met. Codestuff’s unaudited accounts for the year to 31 January showed turnover of £600,000 and a loss of £60,000.

Colin Evans, managing director of Digital Barriers, said: “As a company, we already partner with Codestuff and have an excellent long-standing relationship with them.”
