Businesses encouraged to get sporty

BUSINESSES across the Capital are being urged to show their sporty side in a ten-month tournament.

The annual Activitymix Corporate Decathlon gets under way in the city on April 26.

Workers will compete against each other in rock climbing, Highland games, mountain biking, bowls, hockey, ceilidh dancing, water polo, a personal health challenge and badminton.

Activitymix founder Jules Lancastle said: “In the current climate, employee engagement is increasingly being considered a key priority.

“Current research highlights fun, teamwork and wellbeing as the strongest influencers of engagement.

“Coupled with the programme’s robust outcomes for businesses, it becomes clear that the Corporate Decathlon is far more than just fun and games and has the potential to deliver tremendous benefits to an organisation and its personnel.”
