Braveheart record jump in income whilst Stagecoach name next company secretary.
• Amec – Talisman Energy awarded the engineering firm a five–year contract, for an undisclosed value, aimed at extending the life of the ageing Montrose field in the North Sea until 2030.
• Braveheart – A 187 per cent jump in total income to £1.58m helped the Perth–based fund manager post a pre–tax profit of £67,000 for the first half, following an £842,000 loss a year ago.
• Bridge Energy – Test drilling showed there were up to 75 million barrels of recoverable oil at the Total–operated Garantiana prospect in the North Sea, in which it has a 20 per cent stake.
• Stagecoach – Mike Vaux is to become the Perth–based transport giant’s company secretary next month, replacing Ross Paterson who takes up the role of finance director in May.
