Business briefs: Lightbody refurb gains two tenants | Confidence slips on eurozone concerns | RSM Tenon

Property agents welcomed two lettings at 45 West Nile Street in Glasgow after a successful refurbishment by landlord and bakery entrepreneur Martin Lightbody.

Agents GVA and Jones Lang LaSalle signed up insurer Catlin to take an office on the fourth floor at £14 per sq ft on a ten-year lease, while building consultancy Adams Consulting took office space on the third floor, with one unit remaining.

Confidence slips on eurozone concerns

More than one-third of global executives expect headcount to shrink in the next 12 months, although concerns about rising costs of commodities and labour rates have “significantly declined”, a report has revealed.

The percentage of executives anticipating revenue growth fell from 69 to 59 per cent on fears over the eurozone and slowing emerging markets, according to a survey by member-based advisory firm CEB.
