Jones booked in for new hotel
COMMERCIAL property firm Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed to oversee the new hotel and retail development on George IV Bridge.
The 34 million The Bridge project by Kilmartin at the former Lothian Regional Council offices will feature a 136-bed hotel let to Radisson SAS, as well as four restaurant and retail units, a Missoni fashion house and Bank of Scotland branch.
David Pestell, director of Jones Lang LaSalle, said: "Between now and the completion of The Bridge next year, we will be providing property management development consultancy advice whilst setting up the management regime for this landmark building in the heart of the Old Town.
"This appointment continues the significant growth for Jones Lang LaSalle in the sector."
