Jim Leishman to help Semi Scenic make relocation decision
Semi Scenic, the semiconductor equipment refurbishment company, has appointed Jim Leishman - though not the Dunfermline FC one - as facilities manager to map out the company's move to bigger, customised premises.
Based at the Science Park in East Kilbride, Semi Scenic has doubled its headcount to 24 over the past year and is considering a number of options for relocation, including a "bespoke design and build solution".
Managing director Don Nicolson said: "Jim's appointment is a landmark in the development of our business. He will look after all the vital facilities functions that an engineering business like ours depends upon.
"In addition, Jim will play a vital role in evaluating the options open to us: do we stay in East Kilbride or does it make sense to move to a location which would provide easier access for a number of our engineers?"
Leishman will be using his experience on international facilities projects for large companies to help clarify the decision process for the Semi Scenic's directors.
