ITV broadcasts bad ad news
BROADCASTER ITV today warned of an expected nine per cent fall in advertising revenues for its key channels over the final three months of the year, which includes the vital Christmas viewing season.
The group added that the wider market was set to see an even bigger drop – at around 9.4 per cent – and hoped ITV would maintain its share of the UK television market in 2008 for the first time in more than 25 years.
ITV reported total broadcasting revenues down five per cent in the nine months to September 30, to 1.2 billion.
