IT firm confident of the future
A LOCAL IT company is celebrating its tenth anniversary and insists long-term business plans will see it succeed despite the economic crisis.
Leith-based Bulbecks, founded by managing director Julian Bulbeck, is thriving despite the difficult economic conditions, and poor performance of the sector as a whole.
The company provides services from intranet development and web design to IT support for various companies listed in the FTSE 100.
Mr Bulbeck said: "There is a tremendous amount of undercutting going on in the IT industry, as suppliers jostle for the same piece of business, but I think they are missing the point. I think it is far safer business practice to charge clients more for great kit and a robust service, than to undercut and risk falling at the first turn."
