Indiana Jones blockbuster helps whip up improved revenues for Cineworld
CINEWORLD, operator of the cinema complex at FountainPark, has seen revenues in the first half of the year nudge ahead, thanks to blockbuster movie releases including Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Total revenues increased 0.7 per cent in the six months to June 26, with box office figures rising 1.2 per cent and retail up 0.2 per cent.
Cineworld said the film release schedule for the first six months of this year had been "reasonably strong".
