GSK jobs axe bites deeper
DRUGS giant GlaxoSmithKline yesterday swung the axe, cutting 200 jobs at a factory in the north-east of England.
The job losses at the firm's Barnard Castle site in County Durham were "worse than expected". The company has already announced 2,470 cuts in the UK and US in a bid to fight competition from cheaper generic drugs.
