Google's revenue rises to £3.3 billion
GOOGLE has seen its revenue increase by 3 per cent to £3.3 billion.
The internet company's quarterly results also show net income hitting 900m in the three months to 30 June.
However, although the search engine's quarterly profit beat Wall Street expectations, the weak economy and slump in advertising spending took a toll on revenue growth and the price of its search ads.
Paid clicks – which include clicks related to adverts served on Google sites and the sites of AdSense partners – were 15 per cent higher year-on-year, but 2 per cent less than in the first quarter.
