From designer shirts to football shorts
BRIAN Duffy, president of Ralph Lauren in Europe, has became an independent non-executive director at Celtic FC, it was announced yesterday.
Duffy, who grew up in Glasgow before leaving Scotland for a string of corporate roles including at Playtex and Pretty Polly, is also a shareholder in the football club.
Celtic chairman John Reid said: "We will be drawing upon his enormous experience in UK and international retail operations, merchandising and brand development as we look to build our business further in the coming years."
Duffy joined Ralph Lauren in 2003 following a short career break.
